Do the preparations cause an unrealistic real world environment? Don’t we want to know what the BP of a patient is during an average day. Not sitting still, bladder half full, talking, working etc.

My doctor said not to trust my wrist cuff, so I brought it to an appointment. After they took my bp, I pulled out mine and took my bo. It was the exact same reading.
