I don’t yell, I shift the energy in the room, raise an eyebrow and grab a wooden spoon or slipper to remind everybody I may be the shortest person in my household now but now I can legally throw hands with all but one. They don’t test me. I’ll just randomly remind them that I can act like a rabid spider monkey and climb up and put them to sleep, throw a slipper from the other end of the house and hit the ice maker dispenser without looking or put them in a submission hold until they tap. Everyone watches tones, behaves and doesn’t make me repeat myself. I make other people’s kids straighten up in public with a look. I think it’s my eyes that scares them. 😂
