She was cool as a villain, but this was a character assassination. She regretted controlling others and grieved the loss of Vision and her kids. Then in MoM she does it all again but with intention then kills herself.

Knowledge :
So everyone overlooked the "Madness" part of the movie title. She had a mental breakdown from the aftermath of Endgame & WandaVision. The Darkhold also made it worse. Dr. Strange says "it corrupts everything and everyone who touches it". It drove her into madness. We see what the the book did to her. She didn't think or behave the same after touching/using it.

Realizing that Doctor Strange might be the only one who isn’t selfish among the Avengers. No matter what he could have done or what he could have offered to go back to the past, he never sacrificed everything just for his own happiness. He chose the greater good, even when it meant losing what he wanted most.

She could have literally helped train America to control her power and then have her take her to a world where her biological kids needed a mother that wouldn’t cause any issues for her being there and had everything thing she would need to raise them for as long as they should live
