Tbh Carpathia told Olympic to stand down even offered taking the passengers because survivors would be traumatised and would behaved they seen ghost ship of the Titanic. If Carpathia didn’t get the distress, it still take Olympic a day on full steam.

To all people saying they were too traumatised to see the Olympic, it is not true, they wanted to be safe , and i can assure you that they didn’t care what ship it was , they just needed help, when you re already in danger you don’t care about the trauma anymore.
