Just because he’s not very loud with his emotions doesn’t mean he’s always nonchalant. He’s actually pretty transparent with his emotions, his nonchalant act is either just an act or he truly didn’t care at the time. The second he gets attached to someone he’s wearing his heart on his sleeve for them
