Mental health is so different from physical health! It can literally feel like a deathbed that has no release. Seriously, reach out to me when you are in these dark corners, I can be a sounding board, a voice of reason, or someone who just shuts up and listens. Veterans have it so much more difficult than people think. You are never alone!!!

I feel dysregulated a lot of the time and I just have my voice dragging me down on a daily basis. When the voice comes, I tell it to go away and I try and say nice things about myself to myself out loud It doesn’t work every time, but when it does, it’s an absolute game changer.
