I imagine he doesn't do this at home because he is in charge at home and does whatever he wants to. So when the teacher has rules and tells him no, he loses his shit. I've taught for 30 years. I know some things.

My son did this in kindergarten. I took him straight to a therapist, then immediately back to the school and had him spit shine that classroom and make it look brand new. That was a big turning point for his behavior. We were there til 7pm. Had the janitor give us the keys to lock up when we left. We scrubbed floors, cleaned other kids’ pencil off of desks, Clorox wipes the whole room, vacuumed carpet…. The works. He has never done anything like this since. Some kids need a little help, some parents need a little help, but there’s still plenty of room in their lives and diagnosis for accountability.

Your child needs ABA and please consider homeschooling until he can regulate himself and return to public school . This is unfair for the educators trying to teach a whole classroom when one child requires 1:1

The thing that frustrates me is that the kids that aren’t used to chaos, confusion, wild behaviors, have to witness and experience that throwing off their nervous systems and feeling unsafe. It’s so unfair and definitely not a fair education for all.
