It’s a luck of the draw truly my sons car was totaled how could we sit in glass and a crushed car. We were outside for hours thankfully unhurt this just isn’t always what’s possible.

Wrong, you don’t SIT in your car either. I have a friend who sat in the car with the hazards on and and got hit by a truck. Had a fractured skull! You get out of the car and run to the top of the ramp. What the heck are yall saying

my friend was the person who passed on the 17th💔 she pulled over to help two ladies who had been hit by a driver and didn’t make it😞 pls stay in your cars people…she was only 23 and had so much to live for, but now she’s gone🥺😞

staying in your car when you have no alternative. if you are on the right shoulder and can get to a grassy/wooded area, then yes, or behind guardrail or barrier wall, yes. if you are on inside shoulder and have to no options, STAY IN YOUR CAR

The older I get the more I realize why my grandma didn't like to drive on the interstate during heavy commute hours. I rather be stuck on the side of the road at 2AM vs 2PM.

People don't use the slow down or move over for broken down and emergency vehicles. This is why georgia allows citizens to have amber and white flashing lights when broken down to be very visible

Parents seem to have decided they’re not going to teach their children or kids in their lives how to be a safe car owner/driver. These are things that used to be talked about and drilled into our heads as kids.

I left my car in an exit where those triangles places are enough space not to be on the way. Went to see it and there’s only half of my car left….it was hit around 3AM on a saturday, y’all needa stop driving after them clubs!!!!!!!!!!!! like no funny stuff you will lose your life even if your not at fault don’t even drive on the weekends no more pass 12 😔

wouldn't it actually make more sense to stand about 100 ft in front of your car? then if someone hits your car it's behind you. I also have hazard lights in my car to put on top to flash red.

Oh so I’m sorry if my car just catches on fire on the highway and I pull over you’re telling me I should just stay in the car and suffocate from the smoke or burn alive instead of getting out of the vehicle, nah I think I’d rather be hit by the car going atleast 70
