In my opinion and this could just be me- as a female, I probably could have looked sideways and laughed at the tackle. The tackle wasn’t the issue. The issue was the menacing way he stood over and threatened her. That’s what made it more about DV than the tackle.

I would never hit my wife of 30yrs. I let my wife watch the ad unbiased (she not on social media much and is unaware). All she did was laugh and say, "bes not touch his driver." See, she is not influenced by social media influencers to make something out of nothing. Did I think the ad was dumb, yes. Did I think it was in poor taste... No.. Good larwd, my wife and I tease like this ALL the time. Yall acting like he pile drived her. I tell Kell repeatedly l, "you touch that and Im gonna spank that ass". She just laughs, just like the girl in the ad. Yall DV is real, this just ain't it, and neither is it advocating for it. Everyone needs to get off social media and rejoin the real world.
