As for me I feel like music in the barbershop background is not bad but you just don’t have to increase it too loud and sometimes it depends on the client that they walk into the room that moment, as for me I play the music according to the client that they walk in because we have different types of clients yeah.

this is one old school rule I tossed out, we play all kinds of music, cursing or not, the kids love it, and actually the parents love it too, I've seen them look over to their kid and say 'you know this? aw this is biggie this is a classic" it has always helped our atmosphere and we specifically get complimented often on our music in the shop, it just works for us🤷🏽‍♂️

Thank you brother. Over the in the barbershop and salons I have always selected music that is as universally nutritional as possible. This helps to ensure clients feel comfortable and welcome and less likely to form any sort of opinion of the shop based upon the style of the music.
