Bonds height is so irrelevant, the dude never actually tries blending in or doing stealthy espionage, he makes himself known as soon as he enters every room, usually insults the main bad guy whilst getting the most beautiful woman in the room to take home with him

All the actors who have played Bond are around the same height-except Craig, who is the only one under six feet. Ordinary, 6’5 seems too tall for a spy trying to blend in, but this is Bond, who goes around telling everyone his name. I agree with CR, though, I’d like to see the guy from Slow Horses get it.

tall people are a pain in the ass to film. the rest of the cast has to stand on boxes, it limits your blocking, staging, and framing options, taller people are harder to find good costumes for, and you have to account for their height in your production design. I read somewhere once that Liam Neeson's height added something like $100,000 to The phantom menace's budget.
