Two hours after my dogs leg was amputated she was awake in her crate at the hospital eating her food and kissing the oncologist. Honeycomb will be totally fine. My vet says dogs need three legs four is a bonus. 🥰

My last foster had that combo of drugs and before I could administer the traz she chased a skunk. best experience of her young life, I'd imagine. made for an easy bath at least.

I just lost my soul dog unexpectedly. She wasn’t even three. She passed a week before her birthday but she had a frog toy that I got her for Christmas and it was one of her favorites. so seeing that her favorite toy is also a frog made me smile ❤️this is my baby Roux I just know her and Simon are best friends 🥹

You will be shocked how fast she bounces back. We made the difficult decision to have our dog’s leg amputated to try and save her from an aggressive form of mast cell cancer. Within 48 hours her little spunky spirit was back 100%. Losing a leg didn’t faze her one bit. Unfortunately the cancer had already spread and they didn’t know until after the surgery was performed. We lost her 3 months after this photo.

I’m a long time lurker, but I’m so excited for Honeycomb I had to finally comment. People saying it’s not the right decision don’t understand. I adopted a senior tripod and she lived her best life. Her name was Rocket because she could still outrun other dogs. Tripods are amazing!
