I'm sorry, but unless you have a power of attorney, no doctor or pharmacist is going to tell you to hand over your unused medication to somebody, it was not prescribed to because if that person were to od and die, that doctor or pharmacist would be stripped of their license.

I also had the impression Patrick was collecting her discontinued meds to dispose of them prior to the 23rd. But if you rewatch his testimony closely, it actually sounds like he didn’t talk to Jollotta about turning those pills over to the police until *after* January 23rd as part of the post-incident cleanup. The prosecution frames it as if this storing and disposal plan was happening beforehand, and Patrick answers her literal questions perfectly without actively correcting her timeline shift. That now gives him the perfect alibi for hiding and storing her pills and no one was aware of it.

A nurse from that area said that he lied because she knows the pharmacy and they never would give old medications to someone especially a benzo, and hand out the new meds on top. They would always tell them to use up the old meds first.
