Morning walk with Kim and Rufus. Warm, humid, and unmistakably late summer, but absolutely beautiful out here this morning. We wandered along the trails through more spiderwebs than I could possibly count, watched dragonflies dart around everywhere, and apparently offended one very angry blue heron who made it quite clear that we were trespassing in his territory. Rufus, of course, was on full sniff alert for possible deer to scream at. Not a bad way to start what’s going to be a long day. A little fresh air, a little sunshine, wet dog, angry wildlife, and some time together before the real work begins. Now it’s time to clean up, change clothes, train legs, and get some stairs. The peaceful portion of the morning is officially over. - @yaypugs
