Humm not quite correct, depends if the tram has got proceed from the signal .. more or less if you’re road driving you usually get the signal and a green traffic light (unless crossing traffic)

I mean, it depends on the network. Manchesters tram network is built for speed and the trams take high priority at junctions. Edinburghs tram network can be quite slow and they often wait longer at junctions.
