@thenatureeducator: Inspiring millions of people all around the world, including myself, Dr. Jane Goodall showed us that compassion, curiosity, and connection belong in science. As a female in field science, she became a role model for gernerations of girls, showing us that we belong in science and can make a difference. I have always been a nature lover and incredibly curious about the natural world. I remember learning about Jane as a young girl, and feeling inspired by her up to the present day. Her dedication to spreading love and care for people, wildlife, and climate were part of what inspired me to pursue my aligned passion for nature. I hope that I too can encourage others to be kind to our planet, and embody hope for our future. For decades, Jane walked through forests, jungles, and savannahs touching the hearts of people around the world, encouraging hope and action for the natural world. Now it's our turn to walk for her. Before Jane passed away, she invited people across Canada to join the Hike for Hope. On October 3rd or 4th, choose a trail, go outside into nature, and help raise funds for @Jane Goodall Institute 🇨🇦 to turn hope into action towards animals, people, and the environment. If you'd like to sign up or donate to my hike, visit the link in my bio! #janegoodall #hikeforhope #womeninstem #nature
