Skepticism isn't what English Universities were built upon back in the day. That is something pushed into the Universities around the time of people like David Hume, who was in my view was one of the intellectual causes for French influenced society throwing out meteorites from museums, refusing farmers making witness on natural events, on the retort that they were lying if they themselves could not prove it and these were nothing but rocks. But once they gained power, they unleashed mass murder, and were inreality themselves the actual openly sxually perverse.

But inclusivity and empathy are not mutually exclusive with skepticism. I would argue that the scientific method and skepticism is just as alive today as it ever was, in both fields of natural science as well as social sciences. That is true for all the papers I read and read about.
