its strange how a child's mind can see through the misguided teaching ,i can remember as boy of about 7 years, telling my mother that a plucked chicken looks exactly the same as a dinosaurs Trex therefore they must be related, this was back in 1952 ,way before it was considered and later proven that birds were infact defended from dinosaurs ,my mother of cause smiled and reminded me that there is no living dinosaurs, but I as a little child saw something that seemed obvious that scientists didn't amazingly 😂

a friend of mine had the opposite problem, his parents had him convinced they still existed and when they didny want to travel somewhere they would tell him they couldn't cuz dinosaurs lived there, he didnt know they didnt exist anymore until he was a teenager 🤣

I think dinosaurs ARE dragons. The name dinosaur came about in the 1800’s (I believe, maybe 1700’s?) so before that they were just called dragons. 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

When my oldest granddaughter was little, I don’t know, two or three years old maybe. she loved dinosaurs. Her parents took her to the museum. when she saw that the dinosaurs were just bones. She started crying and yelling they dead, they all dead! They had to leave because she wouldn’t calm down. Bless her sweet little heart.
