🩷Update 8/29: Adopted🩷 😭This girl is absolutely breaking my heart and needs our help. 💔 This gorgeous ~2 year old German Shepherd mix girl was found as a stray by people who actually wanted to keep her. They said she is sweet, loves attention & going on walks, & they believe she is mostly housebroken. But there was one problem: she didn’t do well with their cats. So instead of being able to stay with the people who found her, she ended up here. And now she looks SO SAD. Who can blame her? 🥹 She went from having people interested in her & getting attention to sitting behind kennel bars in a loud, stressful shelter. Just look at those eyes. She seems scared, confused, & like she is wondering why she’s here. But somewhere underneath all that sadness is a sweet girl who loves being with her people. She deserves someone who will give her the chance to decompress, get comfortable, & show them who she really is. Someone who will take her on walks and give her love, structure, training, enrichment, proper vet care, and make her part of the family. She does NOT belong sitting in a kennel, and she definitely doesn’t belong as a backyard ornament. The shelter is already FULL, and she desperately needs someone to step up before another dog needs her kennel. If you can adopt, please go meet her in person.
