con todo respeto y como aporte no crítica opino que ninguna regla en un taller es absoluta, creo que el secreto está en saber leer el tipo y densidad de madera que vamos a cortar !! por ejemplo en maderas demasiado duras y que tipo de discos tengas ( cantidad de dientes ) bajar el disco te cambia el angulo de ataque y no siempre es beneficioso al corte a la fibra de la madera también puede ser inseguro por qué el rechazo por el propio ángulo de corte se genera en más de una dirección lo que también es peligroso como también más cantidad de dientes más tiempo en contacto progresivo Pero más fricción mayor temperatura más esfuerzo del motor y un desahogo más tardío en el corte !! entonces sostengo que depende directamente del tipo de madera y en especial su densidad y dureza

prevención de accidentes es lo principal ,lo de los dientes es relativo porque la madera TIENE contacto con la sierra todo el corte y cortar un dedo sería lo menos NUNCA sabemos si caemos arriba de ese disco Y ÉSTE está muy afuera
