@everevolvingexotics: Tips for success while making a terrarium background. Have all your materials ready and available. Work quickly. Once you start foaming you only have around 5 minutes before it starts curing. Make sure your coconut fiber and spagnum moss are completely dry. Any moisture will cause it not to stick. Do not foam in extreme temps as it will cause the substrate to fall off. Aim between 72-78F while foaming. Use a glove to press in to get best contact. Leave it overnight to fully cure before flipping it back up to see the results. I used 1 tube of Lugarti aquarium silicone and 2 cans of Lugarti terrarium foam. Couldn’t you, in theory, kind of stick whatever you want to the background? Let’s say a fake skeleton?

Do you put the coconut fiber and moss on the foam after it dries 24 hours later or do you put it quickly on before it dries?
