Umm 150 north of Albany and you’ll be in Canada. You only need to go like 30 miles north to get to the ADKs

The Adirondacks aren’t 150 miles from Albany. Mount Marcy is roughly 120 miles but the Adirondacks start well before mount marcy it’s actually about 45 miles from Albany

Lived in the northern Adirondack mountains my whole life ❤️. 64 years and I can't leave. The blackflies and deerflies suck along with our governor and Albany but it's beautiful up here 👌. Except the Boarder is 50 minutes away 🙄😉😎

Yep, 60 miles north of Albany is "gateway to the adks" signage once you enter the roundabout in Mayfield.

You dont even have to go that far to get onto some beautiful country. Get off of the big roads like Interstate 87 amd Interstate 90. But the farther north or west you go it Definitely does feel more country
