There’s a guy on tiktok that trapped a bunch of pigs and rewarded one with a bag of Cheeto puffs and let it go. It remembered the treat and brought another group back into the trap. He rewarded it again and let it go. Kept on doing this and it would just keep finding new groups and bringing them to the trap.

Farmers in Texas complain about pigs wiping out their crops and they get subsidies from the government for it. If you go up to the farmer and offer the farmer to hunt and reduce the population they want to charge you per pig. its hypocrisy at its finest.

They breed year around. And females can have up to 10-12 piglets at a time. My dad’s best friend. Basically family. Own a 1500 acre high fence. And we killed every pig we saw for several years and it took about ten years to get rid of them all. They took over the high fence and would run off big deer and axis that JJ ters would come pay to hunt. We were shooting twenty a day some days. And they still show up from time to time but they know that they are in danger on that property

Put a bounty program like Louisiana does with nutria, don’t charge people and put stupid regulations on it. Create a night time hunting season on all public lands. “People are gonna outlaw regardless, so I don’t understand why we don’t implement one” is what I was told but a LWDF biologist

Here's the real problem, private farm land. These places keep wild hogs, allow them to breed, then charge exorbitant prices for the privilege of hunting on that land. They don't care if the hogs cause problems, cause the bigger the problem, the more they charge.

The thing is, it’s not done right. People still have to pay others to hunt them. In some states there aren’t many places to go. Most property owners in a lot of areas of Texas don’t live there and don’t let others hunt them so they just breed uncontrollably.
