To tell a story is in part to tell a lie, isn’t it?” 🦋 For those of you who’ve been following my stories, it probably won’t come as a surprise to hear that I absolutely loved this book. I had very, very, VERY high expectations — and honestly, I was not disappointed. Immersing myself in @rmgillig ‘s fantastical, gothic world is always such a delight. And, as always, the characters and the world itself made me want to draw them. So I couldn’t resist illustrating Sibylle and Bartholomew for this one. For those of you who’ve read the book, there are quite a few little Easter eggs hidden in the illustration — some of them are more or less spoilers 👀 Do you think you’ll be able to find them all?
