I also thought is was interesting that Peter Gabriel was assigned to Silo 17 and that silo had the record player in it and music library shown in Season 2. Makes me wonder if Silo 17 was the silo meant to store more culture and art.

After All The Silos are not that Old , hardly 50 years Old. the people in the Silo forget the time and events, they only remember what the Silos managers want them to remember. it's like Experiments, it may be possible some of the Silo Occupants are going out and come back to continue working for the organizers. The Silo Project managers that attend the Celebration event and tour of the silo by the tourist know in advance it's the day the Silo human experiment will start.
