Pink grapefruit, ginger and Calabrian bergamot open it up, then you get jasmine and leather, with patchouli and ambergris in the base. So instead of another obvious aquatic Hawas, Alpha looks darker, sharper and more leathery on paper. I haven’t smelled it yet, so I’m not calling it a winner — but this one definitely has my attention.
