@reuters: Fay Manners became the first British woman to open a new route on the Eiger North Face after completing the feat with Swiss climbing partner Roger Schaeli. After following the more conventional path of becoming a data scientist, Manners realized her heart was in the mountains and moved her life to follow her passion.
