we have the same back story. I came out when I was 20 because I just couldn't hide it anymore. my mom, who's now in heaven was the only one that supported me. my dad disowned me for years. because of God I'm still standing to tell that story and so much more. 💙

I’m glad you could find a middle but I don’t think I ever could. My parents were ministers and the things they had done when I came out completely shattered me and I’m not sure that I could ever vew god as good or real again. But I’m glad for everyone else who can still find kinship in something they thought would never except them for who they are.
