Drugs are expensive because you’re not just paying for the cost of making the pill, you’re paying for the years of research and billions invested to discover it. Over 90% of drugs fail during development, so the few that succeed have to generate enough profit to cover their own costs AND all the failed attempts. You would understand this if you actually studied economics instead of reading socialist propaganda.
