Emil Michael details specific scenarios he brought to the Anthropic team to try and work out the contract's limitations: "How about a Chinese hypersonic missile going Mach 5 or above? I've got two minutes to take it down from space. There's a guy with a joystick that couldn't do this. And they're like, 'hmm, call me.' I was like, call you when? 'Just give me a call, we'll work it out at the time.'" Michael questioned the company's insistence that it had to honor what he called its own 'Claude Constitution.' "But what about OUR Constitution?"
