There are many studies documenting how women’s regular household labour increases substantially after marriage, while men’s decreases, yet women are still expected to contribute financially outside the home. Been there, done that. It’s very unlikely that I will marry again. I do have a committed life partner, and he knows I will not be the primary housekeeper. He’s been doing a good job of doing his share and I appreciate it very much. Also, she said nothing about not having children, unless you cut that part out? We don’t need to be married to procreate, and can choose to do that with a partner or on our own.

The issue is that most women who marry end up taking on the masculine role while the man acts like another child. Meanwhile he defends his status by playing the simpleton card. “All I need to be happy is “feed me, fx me, and be quiet”. Women can have quiet all the time without men and all the work that comes with it. We can make a good living too! We can also adopt babies or go to sperm bank to make one if we WANT TO. Stop exaggerating about the lack of babies in this world. There isn’t one.
