@iamlorenp: Natalie Harp's survival story is unrateable by Snopes. Her claims about cancer treatment and the right to die are questioned. #NatalieHarp #CancerStory #Unexplained #MedicalMystery #TruthSeeker
Harp claims that her bone cancer was a direct result of being accidentally infused with a bag of sterile water instead of saline by a nurse in 2015. According to the American Cancer Society, there is absolutely no scientific link between an intravenous error and the development of bone cancer.

Hemolysis risk: Injecting it straight into an IV line causes intravascular hemolysis (the destruction of red blood cells)...I think she is saying this because of what it does to red blood cells which is not bone cancer

Receiving a whole liter of sterile water could cause an issue but it could be corrected easily. I mean there are some factors involved, mainly the salinity of the water. O.9 saline won’t harm you in the least, there is just no way getting sterile water would cause cancer. If she said it harmed her kidneys it a possibility . But a young otherwise healthy person would only have transient issues.

My dad had Multiple Myeloma (bone cancer) which started as Polycythemia and then spread into his bones. He went through chemo and was VERY ill for years.
