It’s so funny i don’t think im friends with anyone from secondary school or college even. All my pals are from my late 20s early 30s. Very small circle. Handful of fab new mum friends who I’d be lost without. Honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. Deffo

What a great topic to talk about Ruth👏. Elizabeth Day says that when we break up with someone we vent and talk about it but friendship break ups are never addressed in the same way as e can feel embarrassed like we've done something wrong and often it can be just as meaningful relationship to a romantic one.

Love that term “ low maintenance friendships” that’s a win win, it is realistic especially once you start a family, life changes, and that then allows u to be free to have your friendship life without pressure.
