@jamieshuell.ai: Every founder has this problem. You experience one tiny inconvenience and instead of just dealing with it, your brain immediately goes: “Surely I could build a SaaS for this.” Slow spreadsheet? SaaS idea. Annoying admin task? SaaS idea. Bad booking system? SaaS idea. Something takes 3 clicks instead of 2? £10m ARR opportunity. And AI has made this so much worse because now you can actually build the thing. A few years ago, most random software ideas would die the second you realised you needed a developer, designer, backend, database, hosting and about £20k. Now you can open Claude, ChatGPT or Codex, describe the problem and have a working prototype by the end of the day. Which is amazing. But it also means the hard part isn’t building anymore. It’s figuring out whether anyone actually cares. Because just because something annoys you doesn’t mean 10,000 people are going to pay £49/month to fix it. The best SaaS ideas usually come from boring, repetitive problems people already spend time or money solving. So yes, keep writing the ideas down. Just maybe don’t buy the domain immediately. Although we both know you probably already did. #SaaS #StartupIdeas #AIFounder #VibeCoding #BuildInPublic
