I am from Alabama and I like to travel. When we go out of state like out west and to California, I still show my southern hospitality and talk to people and say yes ma’am and no ma’am and all that jazz. People always look surprised at the random person talking to them but they’re always so nice and conversational right back. It just takes one person to speak.

yes that would be normal in Alabama..we also wave at people setting on porches, no we dont know them we just like to wave..pull up beside someone and if you happen to look over at the same time and make eye contact..you kod your head..yelp that's Alabama... So welcome Sweet Home Alabama

A lady was looking for ranch dressing but a bottle was expensive and she didn’t wanna pay that price, I chimed in and told her that the pack is better than the bottle stuff anyways then she says she don’t like mayonnaise that it takes to make it, I suggested sour cream then the convo went on to how many kids we have and what their genders were and lots of other things🤣 I love it down here!!
