actually trump gas prices do matter. people are getting underpaid more and more nowadays, being paid hourly with minimum wage means about 3-5ish hours of work for a full tank of gas depending on how much your car takes. most minimum wage jobs range from 7.25 an hour to 18-20 an hour, if someone wants to afford groceries and gas often enough to be fed there needs to be a second source of income, unless your working full time which sometimes gets you more. My mother gets 32 an hour and my dad 24. Even with those prices of how much they get paid we still struggle to pay bills for healthcare, insurance, car payments, internet, gas, especially because my mother commutes down to the city for work. Money IS an issue, gas IS and issue, she pays for gas twice a week. We buy groceries once a week because theres 5 people to feed in my family. Its horrifying, if prices are bad now, how is it gonna be when im an adult? he makes me scared for college because how am i supposed to pay for my dreams if i can barely afford groceries and gas.
