MY STORY… I know this may be strange to look at, but most of you who don’t know me don’t know my story… I know you’re not supposed to, but I carry grief with me every single solitary day. This has changed me in so many ways and if you’ve never gone through anything like this, you will never be able to understand the pain that I’ve had to endure. I had to bury my husband at 35 years old. One minute he was there he was fine he went mountain biking in the woods look at this video you will see a mountain bike laying on the ground next to a log… that’s where they found him… He died right there. He had a massive heart attack at 35 years old in the middle of the woods mountain biking. How could this be? He died doing what he loved what a way to go and in such a beautiful place! I was mad at him for the longest time. I thought he got off easy. He didn’t have to see the pain that his mother went through that his children went through. What I had to go through! I saw him 20 minutes earlier. He said I love you get the kids something to eat. We have been married for 10 years. My kids were eight and 11 years old. Overtime the pain seems to get less but every single time you have an event whether it’s a wedding a baby shower, or anything that should include their father that hurts them. It hurts me to see it in their eyes sometimes it feels like it just never ends. I want to say that I have felt his presence over me for the past 20 years! Couple days before he died he never did this. He hated malls. He was such an outdoor person. We were in a mall and he went into a Christian bookstore. He said wait here I want to go get you something. He came back out and handed me a keychain and it was an angel. He said I have a feeling you’re gonna need this. This is his him in this video I created it so I could know that he was not in that stupid coffin that the minute that he fell off his bike and passed away, he was in Jesus’s arms!!! during the time that my husband passed away, my mom passed away a couple years later, and I had two sisters passed away five months apart, I’ve lost so many pets, friends I’ve gone through so many physical problems! I’ve got to learn to turn that all around he is in heaven, and I still got things to do! I lost so many people, but I also gained so much love that I never would’ve had so many beautiful memories!!! my kids they miss their father every single day… that’s the hardest part, not understanding all this had to happen! I’m so incredibly proud of my children but I know how much they love their father and I know how much he loved them! It has been a struggle to let him go! I will carry your love with me forever I’m sorry I couldn’t save you…I’ve tried to take care of our babies they are grown up now you would be so proud!!! 🥲 ❤️‍🩹##griefjourney##grief##widowsoftiktok##daughter##son
