The problem is that they can publicly say all of this, then quietly vote for Senate President Stivers in January and all throw up their hands and act helpless later. If Senate leadership remains in place as is, it will not matter what anyone says before election. GOP needs to explain to voters what specific changes they will make to ensure bills with bipartisan support are not stalled in the Senate. Without an actionable plan, that includes accountability and transparency it’s all just political theater to stay in office, imo.
