Molly met Joshua Stimpson on Tinder - originally from stoke on trent.. and he seemed like the perfect gentleman. And at first they really hit it off… Molly fell hard and he almost became part of the family. They did everything together.. but after a while.. that became a problem.. Soon Molly felt really overwhelmed by this and Joshuas behaviour got VERY worrying. After an accumulation of this possessive behaviour Molly decided to break up with him. But his behaviour was so worrying she reported him to the police. Officers just told her to block him and didn’t investigate further. Little did they know, he had been reported to police by several other women for dangerous aggressive behaviour and threats. On 29th June Molly headed to the gym. Joshua stalked her there and back to her car. He attacked her in broad daylight. And Joshua didn’t even plead guilty to this horrific crime. He claimed diminished responsibility but the jury in court did not buy his excuses. There was clear evidence of premeditation, and turns out there were missed opportunities by the police. The jury took less than four hours to convict him and he was given at least 26 years in prison. So lately I have been getting LOTS of phone calls on no caller ID with him breathing down the phone and then a car outside my house at gone 01:00. I rang the police & told them how worried I was. In a nutshell, they said there was nothing they could do unless he did something to me!! I had the car registration and finally a phone number when he mistakenly didn’t withhold the number…. The police said they can’t even check the car reg as “he’s done nothing wrong…” I said to the officer “well let’s hope I don’t end up on a Netflix documentary!”. This is been in the last 2 weeks so very recent, he has even tried accessing my Deliveroo account at 07:41 today😏 We have the White Ribbon campaign and we are told to report this & that but when we do, we are not taken seriously until something bad happens!🥺
