While I understand why corporations want them, most Republicans west of the Colorado are against them due to the lack of water and energy. Here in Utah, the opposition is almost unanimous among Republicans and Democrats. They want to put one in a volatile area of the state in regards to resources. I’m a life long Republican, but sometimes we have to see the baby is ugly, and actually recognize that.
