I was probably 35/36 years old, after I left my husband and was sitting at the table with my two children 10 and 5 back then and I recognized that no one will come to save my inner child and my hand won‘t be taken „but“ there were these two souls sitting just right next to me waiting for me to take theirs. From that on everything change so much into positivity. I really appreciate that moment and thank god

I prayed an elder family member cut through my parents’ bs and took me in. As I got older, I was judged unfairly as being as bad. Yet- I’ve always worked since age 16, car, 3 houses. I’m a landlord now. I live my quiet single life.

Yeah, kinda of, but not in the way you think. I just mean contact, conversation and knowing I’m not all alone in this. Not financially or otherwise. Just bonding and knowing I have 1 person in this experience
