Let's COOK fam! 😁> Sheep head 🐑 #sheephead #skopo #smiley #southafricanfood Ingredients: To cook the head: Sheep head Water Chicken stock Salt for taste Black pepper 1 onion roughly chopped 2 tbsp of All purpose seasoning (I used Six Gun) 1 tbsp Paprika 1. Method of cooking my sheep head: - In a big pot, boil water then add your sheep head - Cook it for 1 hour - After an hour, I started flavouring and seasoning my sheep head. - I added S&P, 1 tbsp of paprika and 2 tbsp of Six gun spice, 1 chicken stock After a complete 2 hours of cooking time. 2. - Remove the sheep head from the pot and - Place on a baking tray with olive oil - Lightly season the inside of the head, close it and season with paprika on the skin just to get a beautiful colour on it. - Place in the oven and grill for 15 minutes on one side, turn it and grill the other side for 15 minutes. 3. To make the sauce: - Remove the head, - reduce the liquid if it was a lot - taste and check the flavour of the sauce - I added a touch of paprika, chicken spice and chicken stock, mix well and reduce the sauce to a consistency of your choice. I enjoy Sheep head with Pap, cabbage, salsa and archar.
