He’s right. They did do the job without flock. But it also took them WAY longer to solve crimes. It’s a shame that people want to take these tools away from police. My wife’s car got stolen, and it was found in a day with LPR.

make sure they actually get removed though bc the ones in texas that ended flock partnerships basically end the city's ability to access them but then the folks doing passive wireless detection on the cameras noticed that the flock cameras are essentially still active and still sending signals even in counties that have "ended" their partnerships

This is awesome cause in another county they used the news media to push that flock help them track a suspect from one city to another in a 50 mile radius. Knowing damn well on that stretch of road, it’s either east/west. So Flock had nothing to do with the tracking. More than likely, the suspect was picked up traveling towards the city being picked up by the last Expressway Authority Cameras. These resources are not what people think they are and the use is not intended for any safety. Leaders need to step up and stop this “Hunger Games” type Authoritarian mentality.
