There was literally a recent study done saying that there are cognitive benefits over 15 grams a day, so to say that all you do is pee out the excess is definitely not true. However, I will concede to you that creatine likely has no benefits for musculature beyond 10 grams, just based on current data, and how easily creatine saturates muscles.

The "one-size-fits-all" 5g recommendation is a general baseline, but clinical research frequently uses weight-relative dosing to account for the fact that a 230-pound athlete has a much larger muscle "storage tank" than a 130-pound athlete. And studies show that the blood-brain barrier acts as a strict gatekeeper, making it incredibly difficult for standard doses of creatine to enter the brain. To overcome this and actively increase brain creatine levels, researchers frequently use massive doses—often 20 grams per day or a single weight-relative mega-dose of roughly 0.35 grams per kilogram of body weight. And I’m not questioning you as a strongman. Heck if you want to share some dead lifting tips to a new power lifter that would be awesome!

Childhood obesity is a major issue. What “kid” weighs 105kg… dose this person not know there is a difference between lbs and kgs?

creatine loading in the brain requires a much higher intake. there's a threshold amount whereby the measurements in the studies showed 0 traces in human brains. so, respectfully, when some here say the cognitive effects of 5g vs 15g are minuscule.... please read the science. it isn't just one study either. there are about 3 dozen published and 50 more currently in research.

lol only reason to take over to is if you want it to be crossing the blood brain barrier even then creatine doesn’t have the strongest cognitive effects
