I understand how emotional some of these comments can be, but at the end of the day, you don’t have to cooperate with the police; you don’t have to help with the investigation. How many other residents have cameras, but to do what they did to this lady was very unprofessional and unconstitutional. Nobody knows her past history with the police; this could be very well why she said what she said. They’ve come to my house asking me something similar; my reply is I’m not going to compromise the security of my home and property for the community. If they would like to buy a 4 thousand dollar camera system, they’re more than welcome.
