My neighbour was a victim of femicide last year and it truly devastated me. Her ex murdered her and then went on to off himself in public. Left two children without a mother (he was not their father). She asked for help multiple times. The police were aware of her troubles with her ex. There is no protection for women. We need more awareness!

Meanwhile in Alberta, Danielle Trump is closing rural woman’s shelters. Saving money for the referendum or like the education and health care systems, under funding them so that she “must” to bring in “2 tier” health care and “private” schools. She’s making sure the population still has “free” support but it’s 💩 to make people payyyy $$$. No big deal that people are dying in emergencies, hate crimes have gone up, elementary students get one hour of actual education and women are left with their violent partner because they have no where to go.
