@modern_floki: Herbal tea When it comes to detoxification and supporting the body’s natural cleansing systems, echinacea, dandelion root, calendula, and chamomile each bring something different to an herbal tea. Together, they create a well-rounded combination traditionally used to support the liver, lymphatic system, digestion, immune function, and healthy elimination. Echinacea: This herbal tea herb is best known for immune support, but its traditional uses also include supporting lymphatic movement and the body’s natural response to inflammation. It pairs especially well with herbs that support elimination and digestion. Dandelion Root: One of the standout herbs for natural detoxification support. Dandelion root has traditionally been used to support healthy liver function, bile flow, digestion, and regular elimination. Its naturally bitter compounds make it especially useful when building an herbal tea around digestive and liver support. Calendula: This herbal tea ingredient has a long history of traditional use for lymphatic support, digestion, skin health, and soothing irritated tissues. Calendula complements dandelion particularly well when the goal is supporting both liver and lymphatic pathways. Chamomile: More than a relaxation herb, chamomile traditionally supports digestion, helps soothe the gastrointestinal tract, and provides gentle anti-inflammatory activity. Its calming nature also rounds out the stronger bitter and earthy characteristics of the other herbs. Combined, these herbs offer a synergistic approach rather than relying on a single “detox” herb. Dandelion supports the liver and digestion, calendula and echinacea traditionally support lymphatic and immune function, while chamomile helps soothe the digestive system and brings balance to the blend. The body already has its own detoxification systems—the liver, kidneys, digestive tract, lymphatic system, lungs, and skin. Herbal tea doesn’t replace those systems; thoughtfully selected herbs can be used to support the organs and processes already doing that work. #herbaltea #modern_floki #herbalmedicine #herbalremedies #herbal

Can these be mixed? Or would it be to strong maybe not all 4 at once but like maybe chamomile with calendula?

I contracted herpes after being intimate with my new boyfriend for the first time. Before we had sex, he never mentioned that he was living with the virus, so I had no idea I was at risk. A few days later, I became extremely sick and experienced painful symptoms that lasted for about two weeks. It was one of the most difficult experiences I’ve ever gone through. After I confronted him, he admitted that he had known about his herpes diagnosis for years but chose not to tell me beforehand.
I felt completely betrayed because I believe I deserved the opportunity to make an informed decision about my own health. If he had been honest with me from the beginning, I could have asked questions, taken precautions, or decided whether I was comfortable with the risk. Instead, that choice was taken away from me.
I decided to end the relationship because trust is very important to me. However, he keeps telling me that I’m overreacting and that herpes is common, so it shouldn’t be a big deal. I understand that many people live normal lives with herpes, but I still feel that honesty and informed consent are essential in any relationship. Am I wrong for feeling this way, or was I justified in expecting him to be truthful before we became intimate?
