Dolly was close for me. She paid my mom’s funeral and sang amazing grace at it. I worked at Dollywood for 8 years and was very poor. I had no power most of the time. She paid 1000 dollars on our utilities and never took credit. My mom passed say when I was 18 and she paid the funeral and sang. She gave me money for college. My dad died when I was 20 and she paid for it. I lost all 3 of my siblings before I wss 24 and she was always there for me checking on me. I miss her and Carl. They were the greatest humans to walk on this earth in my eyes, I would most likely be dead if it wasn’t for her guidance. I am heartbroken but I am happy she is finally with Carl and in a better place

The death of famous people generally don’t get to me. Dolly’s death has made me so sad. Every time I see something I want to cry. She was the epitome of goodness.
