@jerrytv25: PUBLIC NOTICE Cancellation of the Makuach–Magok Wrestling Match Scheduled for 29 August 2026 Dear Members of the Public, Following the resolutions of the Jonglei State Security Council meeting, chaired by the Acting Governor of Jonglei State, H.E. Wilson Awuol Gaijang Awuol, concerning the prevailing security situation in Bor County and Jonglei State at large, the Government of Jonglei State has resolved to cancel the wrestling match between Makuach Payam of Bor County and Magok Payam of Awerial County, which was scheduled to take place on 29 August 2026. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in consideration of the prevailing security situation and the need to safeguard the lives and security of the communities concerned. This public notice is therefore issued to inform the relevant authorities, organizers, and communities of Makuach and Magok Payams, as well as the authorities of Bor and Awerial Counties, to take note of and comply with this resolution of the Government of Jonglei State. The public is urged to remain calm and adhere to the directive until further notice.
