Evil is seductive." 🌑 One of the most disturbing scenes in The Passion of the Christ is the moment Satan drifts through the crowd holding a "child" while Jesus is being scourged. Mel Gibson explained the nightmare logic behind it: "What is more tender and beautiful than a mother and child? The Devil takes that and distorts it just a little bit.
